About this guide
An independent, non-commercial resource written for people who own — or are about to own — a Trezor hardware wallet and want to use the software well.
What this site is
Trezor Suite Guide explains the Trezor Suite application in plain language: what each part of the interface does, how to install and verify it, which settings affect your privacy, and which habits keep a self-custody wallet safe. It is written for the person setting up a first hardware wallet as much as for someone who already knows the basics.
We are not the vendor. Trezor Suite Guide is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by SatoshiLabs. We do not host installers, firmware or downloads. Where a download is needed, we link to the official website so that you always get files from the source that publishes the signatures for them.
Independence and funding
Editorial decisions are ours. That means:
- No paid placements or sponsored articles presented as editorial judgement.
- Outbound links to the vendor are ordinary reference links. Nothing changes in our pages based on them.
- No affiliate tracking links are used to identify individual readers, and the site runs no advertising.
How the content is written
We describe how the application behaves in ordinary use, aiming for explanations that stay true across releases rather than repeating version numbers that go stale. Where a detail can change — supported assets, device specifications, minimum operating-system versions — we say so and point to the authoritative source instead of inventing precision.
Security content is written conservatively. Where there is any doubt about whether a practice is safe, we say it is unsafe. We would rather be blunt than fashionable.
Corrections
Software changes; so should documentation. If something here is out of date or simply wrong, it should be corrected rather than defended. Corrections are folded into the relevant page, and a page that has been substantially reworked gets its content reviewed again end to end.
Your privacy on this site
This site collects nothing from you. There is no account, no newsletter, no comment system, no contact form and no analytics or advertising script. Pages are static HTML and CSS with no client-side scripting, so visiting them does not execute code in your browser.
The only data flow is the ordinary one between your browser and the web server that delivers the page.
What this site will never do
No exceptions, ever
- We will never ask for your recovery seed, your PIN or your passphrase.
- We will never ask you to connect a wallet to this website.
- We will never offer to "recover", "unlock" or "validate" a wallet for you.
- We will never host an installer, an update package or a firmware file.
- We will never contact you first asking you to confirm something about your funds.
Anyone claiming to represent this site and asking for any of the above is impersonating us.
